About the SAIH
A school dedicated to transforming healthcare
The SAIH supports current and next-generation healthcare professionals and stakeholders to implement AI in hospital environment, ethically and responsibly, to improve the health of the population.
More than a school, the SAIH bridges the gap between healthcare professionals and the AI sector.
Launched in 2018, it is the first school dedicated to developing the human competencies required for the successful implementation of AI in real-world healthcare environments.
SAIH programs and resources are designed for everyone working in or for the healthcare sector, whether they contribute directly or indirectly to patient care and population health.
Montreal has emerged as a global centre of excellence in AI, attracting leading experts, researchers, and innovators from around the world. This momentum is reflected in the Montréal Declaration for a Responsible Development of Artificial Intelligence, which promotes an inclusive, transparent, and socially responsible approach to AI. In 2018, the CHUM confirmed its commitment to these principles by becoming a signatory.
