Médecine des toxicomanies

Telehealth program for Indigenous peoples and communities

Murale autochtones

Since 2014, we have developed sustainable partnerships with Indigenous organizations and communities across Quebec to provide culturally safe care tailored to local realities and priorities.

Our approach is grounded in listening, respect for traditional knowledge, and the co-construction of care pathways with First Nations, and Inuit communities.

To improve access to specialized addiction medicine servcies for both urban and remote communities, the CHUM has implemented a telehealth program that offers:

  • Access to specialized clinical services via TEAMS
  • Support for local care teams and community partners
  • Opportunities for bidirectional knowledge sharing and collaboration
