Meritas Ceremony: More than $1.2 million in scholarships to celebrate the student and postdoctoral community
On July 9th, the third edition of the Meritas Ceremony, organized by CRCHUM Student and Postdoctoral Affairs, was held in the CHUM Research Centre Amphitheatre and Agora Courtois. This event celebrates and distinguishes CRCHUM students, fellows and residents for their academic excellence and dedication, rewarding them for their hard work and exceptional discoveries.
This new edition marks a historic milestone, as a record $1.22 million was awarded this year to 114 members of the student and postdoctoral community. This incredible sum was made possible thanks to the partnership between the CRCHUM and the CHUM Foundation.
« Behind this impressive amount are research journeys made possible, projects that can move forward, new expertise being developed, and a new generation of scientists already contributing to advances in research. », says Nathalie Grandvaux, Associate scientific director of the CRCHUM Student and Postdoctoral Affairs.
