The first edition of the Immunopathology Research Theme half-day
On Friday, January 16, a milestone was reached for the Immunopathology Research Theme with the inaugural edition of its half-day event. More than one hundred members, as well as numerous representatives from the services and core facilities of the Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CRCHUM), gathered to celebrate the theme’s research and to promote greater mutual understanding.
During the event, Francis Migneault, research associate in the laboratory of Marie-Josée Hébert, and Jonathan Richard, research associate in the laboratory of Andrés Finzi, both received an Atlas Award of Excellence. This distinction recognizes their sustained and long-standing contribution to the Immunopathology Research Theme and the CRCHUM, and includes a $500 award from the Fondation du CHUM.
“This half-day event was an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and stimulate the development of future collaborations. It was a resounding success, and we hope it will become an annual tradition that strengthens our connections and shared projects. A sincere thank you to the Fondation du CHUM, which made this event possible!” —Andrés Finzi, head of the Immunopathology Research Theme, CRCHUM
