EDI Policy

The CRCHUM considers equity, diversity and inclusion to be a strategic priority. 

In order to create this culture of inclusion, for the purpose of maintaining research excellence and achieving conclusive results, in 2019, the CRCHUM developed an equity, diversity and inclusion policy. 

The policy was updated in 2025 to consolidate our achievements and accelerate the transformation of our environment, our practices, and our research.

The purpose of this policy is to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of research conducted at the Research Center of the University of Montreal Hospital Center (CRCHUM), by ensuring a respectful, collaborative scientific environment free from all forms of discrimination. It aims to ensure that research practices, teams, and the subjects studied reflect the diversity of knowledge, experiences, and perspectives.
