My research aims to better understand the interactions between inflammation and metabolism, particularly the influence of pro-inflammatory cytokines on glucose homeostasis, insulin secretion, and the distribution of nutrients among tissues.

By combining in vivo metabolic phenotyping approaches, advanced PET/MRI imaging, and cellular studies, I investigate the mechanisms involved in metabolic dysfunctions associated with diseases such as type 2 diabetes and endometriosis, with the goal of identifying new therapeutic targets.
