Radiation Protection Service
The mission of the Radiation Protection Service is to ensure the protection of people and the environment from the undesirable effects of radiation. To do this, we administer the CHUM's radiation protection program, which oversees the use of radiation-emitting devices and nuclear substances so that it is safe, optimal and complies with the standards and regulations in effect. Rigor, humanism and a culture of learning are at the heart of our practice.
