The CRCHUM Radiochemistry and Cyclotron core-facility has an IBA cyclotron Cyclone® 18/9 MeV. This particle accelerator is used to produce PET radioisotopes, including Carbon-11, Fluorine-18 (via a small or a large target) and the Nitrogen-13.

We have the necessary expertise and the equipments to manufacture existing F-18 and C-11 radiolabeled radiopharmaceuticals, as well as a qualified team in research and development of new PET radiotracers.

Our laboratory also offers several quality control tests, including endotoxin evaluation, residual solvent quantification by using gas chromatography (GC) and the chemical purity assessment of samples by using high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC).
