Research Interests

Principal investigator in numerous international and Canadian-led trials including ESCAPE, ESCAPE-NA1, NAVIGATE-ESUS and ESCAPE-NEXT, Dr. Poppe is currently leading the multicentre EASI-TOC trial of tandem carotid occlusions in acute stroke.
