Research Interests

Dr. Drapeau has created genetic models for neurodegenerative and developmental diseases using zebrafish as a model of choice. These models allow the analysis of mechanisms regulating the differentiation of neuronal stem cells and the screening of small molecules for the development of therapeutic approaches for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
