Plateforme Cytométrie

The CRCHUM’s Cytometry Core Facility offers a full range of cell analysis and sorting services.

The simultaneous analysis of functional parameters and surface markers makes it possible to, among other things, identify and study cellular immunity and viral pathogenesis mechanisms. High-throughput sorting is used to purify subsets of primary cells (peripheral blood or other tissues) or cell lines.

Our core facility is one of the few in Canada to offer high-throughput cell sorting in a biosafety level 3 (BSL3) zone. Our facilities allow us to sort the cells of patients infected with HIV, HCV and SARS-CoV-2.

Our services are available to researchers working in the university, hospital and industrial sectors.
