Dr. Antoine Desilets, MD, MSc, and his team focus on developing investigator-initiated clinical trials at CHUM, as well as analyzing genomic and transcriptomic biomarkers of response identified through next-generation sequencing (NGS) and liquid biopsies. 

In collaboration with the translational research teams at CRCHUM, their projects evaluate various therapeutic regimens for lung, head and neck and skin cancers, in the neoadjuvant or advanced settings. These studies involve collecting pre-treatment tumor samples for correlative analyses and serial blood specimens to quantify circulating tumor DNA throughout the course of treatment.
