Research Interests

My research focuses on the development and implementation of standardized flow cytometry panels (EuroFlow) for hematologic diagnostics and advanced immunomonitoring. I lead the PIDOT-CAR-T project, which aims to apply high-dimensional immunophenotyping approaches to the follow-up of patients receiving CAR-T therapies, enabling early prediction of infections, immune toxicities (CRS/ICANS), and treatment failure. I am also interested in immune dysregulation associated with HIV, B- and T-cell lymphomas, and rare hematologic disorders, as well as the full automation of clinical flow cytometry analyses across the OPTILAB network.
