Focus on honing your research projects with CRCHUM Core Facilities

- 2 min

Did you know that the 19 core facilities are not just providing state-of-the-art expertise to CRCHUM research teams? They are also innovating!

Thanks to the Research and development (R&D) program, each core facility has the opportunity to enhance its services through the development of new approaches, the validation of emerging methods or the co-creation of solutions with researchers.

This program is truly a springboard for collaborative projects between a core facility and one or more research teams. The goal? To create services that can meet real needs and benefit the entire scientific community.

The core facilities accept everything from modest to more ambitious projects—whether introducing previously proven methods or developing new technologies or unprecedented protocols. Regardless of their scope, projects must be relevant or applicable to other teams and generate significant impact.

Team contributions can vary, including technical support, sample production, partial funding… The flexibility of this approach lends itself to agility and creativity, while ensuring added value for all partners.

Do you have an idea? A method that you want to test or adapt? A problem that could be solved through collaboration with a core facility? This is what the R&D program is for!

Together we can further develop these services, push the boundaries of biomedical research and ensure that our core facilities remain at the forefront of innovation.

Do you have a development idea that may be useful to multiple research teams?
