This year, we’re giving ourselves a major challenge! For 24 hours in a row, around fifteen teams of 6 to 12 participants, will compete on stationary bikes with the aim of covering the greatest number of kilometres. The goal of this event is to raise a minimum of $50,000 to give back to health research at the CRCHUM.  

The entire CRCHUM, CHUM and CHUM Foundation community is invited to participate.

The CRCHUM Challenge is an annual sporting and charitable event that has been held since 2010. It raises funds for research, whether scholarships for students, professional training scholarships or funding for research activities. 

Since its creation in 2010, participants in the CRCHUM Challenge have raised more than $920,000, which has been reinvested directly in research at the CHUM. Together, we give patients and their families hope by dedicating ourselves to improving the health of individuals and the population. Research done at the CRCHUM is essential to the prevention and treatment of many chronic diseases. All of this could not happen without your support and donations.

The CRCHUM is Université de Montréal's largest research centre in biomedical science and health care, and among the largest in Canada. The work ranges from basic research conducted in laboratories to clinical trials in patients, population health research and the evaluation of medical care and practices. At the CRCHUM, researchers and the student community are committed to transforming scientific knowledge into concrete benefits for patients.
