Digital cough monitoring study
Do you have a cough?
Objective
This project aims to record patients’ cough episodes in order to improve clinical diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory diseases.
Criteria for participation
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a cough
- Not taking any cough medicine (last 48 hours)
Participation Process
A meeting at the CHUM, the CRCHUM or in the community during which you will have to:
- Complete a questionnaire
- Take a nasopharyngeal swab
- Record 10 cough episodes with a cell phone
- Install the CoughPro application on your phone for 30 days
A $20 compensation will be offered in case of exclusive travel for this project.
