Transgenesis and animal modelling

The CHUM Research Centre's transgenesis and animal modelling core facility allows researchers to create genetically modified animals.

Our team offers researchers the support needed to establish and maintain their animal colonies and is available for consultation on matters related to genetically modified mouse and rat colonies.

Our services are available to researchers from universities, hospitals and for projects in partnership with the industry.

All animal use must receive prior approval by the Institutional Animal Protection Committee (CIPA).
