Project description

Pathogenetic mechanisms of hepatic encephalopathy, a brain complication of liver disease

Our group is interested in studying cerebral complications of liver disease, a neuropsychiatric syndrome called hepatic encephalopathy. The candidate will participate in ongoing projects, combining in vivo, ex vivo and in vitro approaches in order to test new hypotheses as well as new therapeutic approaches in animal models.
