Research Interests

Dr. Susan Stock has over 20 years clinical and research experience in the area of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) and disability. Her expertise includes the epidemiology of WMSD, analysis of workers compensation and health survey data, etiologic studies of the factors that contribute to these disorders, development and evaluation of preventive and rehabilitation interventions related to WMSD, development and validation of musculoskeletal disorder-specific health status measures and validation of measures of organisational and physical work demands. She also has a strong interest in work as a determinant of health and carries out research on the contribution of workplace factors to health inequalities associated with musculoskeletal disorders.
